Practical notes
Nikah, registration and visas.
Many expatriate couples marry in Pakistan during annual leave, register the nikah with the Union Council and get a NADRA marriage registration certificate, then have it attested for use in Saudi Arabia. Marriages can also take place through the Saudi courts.
Bringing a spouse to the Kingdom depends on your residence status, profession and salary, and the rules change. Check the official Saudi services and the Pakistani embassy in Riyadh or consulate in Jeddah before making plans.
