The most successful family searches start with an honest conversation at home. Before you create a profile, talk about:
- What matters most to them in a spouse, and what matters most to you, and where those differ.
- Whether they are open to someone abroad, in another city, or only nearby.
- Their plans for study and career, and expectations about living with family.
- How involved they want you to be: shortlisting only, or joining every conversation.
- How quickly they want to move from first contact to meeting families.
Safety tips for families
- Never send money, gifts or documents to someone you have not met with both families.
- Meet first in a public place or at home with family present, and video call before travelling.
- Verify claims about jobs, education and residency, especially for overseas proposals.
- Be wary of anyone who rushes, avoids video calls or asks to move to private messaging immediately.

Can I create a profile for my son or daughter?
Yes. A parent, sibling or trusted relative can create and manage a profile with the candidate’s consent, which is recorded. Everything you do is labelled “on behalf of”, so other families always know who they are talking to.
Does my son or daughter need to be involved?
Yes. PakSouls is marriage-first and consent-first: the person getting married must agree to the profile and completes the live selfie check themselves. Many families search together, with the parent shortlisting and the son or daughter joining conversations later.
How do I know a family is genuine?
Look at the verification badges: each one names a specific check (email, phone, live selfie, education). Badges are not a guarantee of character, so still ask questions, meet in safe places and involve both families before any commitment.
Who can see my daughter’s photos?
You choose. Photos can be shown to everyone matching your preferences, to verified members only, or only to families you accept. Phone numbers and contact details stay hidden until you approve a request.
