Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how PakSouls collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use paksouls.com, members.paksouls.com, admin.paksouls.com and any related mobile applications (together, the "Service"). It applies to members, prospective members, and visitors to our public site.
Information we collect
Account and profile information — name, email, phone number, date of birth, city, education, profession, religious practice, language, family expectations, and other details you choose to add to your profile.
Photos and verification data — profile photos, and, if you choose to complete optional verification, a selfie or education documents used solely to confirm what they are intended to confirm.
Communications — connection requests, messages and reports you send through the Service.
Usage and device data — pages visited, actions taken, browser/device type and approximate location (from IP address), collected automatically, including through analytics tools such as Google Analytics (see Cookies & analytics below).
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and operate your profile and account.
- Verify members, generate compatibility suggestions, and power search and discovery.
- Enforce your privacy settings and deliver connection requests and messages.
- Send account, security and service emails (and, where you've agreed, product updates).
- Detect, investigate and prevent fraud, abuse and policy violations.
- Understand and improve how the Service is used.
We do not use your profile information to show you third-party advertising.
Privacy controls you manage
PakSouls is built around privacy controls you set yourself, directly in your account:
- Choose who can see your profile — everyone matching your criteria, verified members only, only members you approve, or no one while your profile is paused.
- Photos stay private or blurred until you approve access, member by member.
- Phone number, WhatsApp and exact workplace are only shared after you explicitly confirm a request.
- Pause or delete your profile at any time.
Verification data
Selfie and education verification are optional. Documents you submit for verification are used only to confirm the specific thing they verify, are accessible to a limited number of trained reviewers, and are retained only as long as needed for verification and safety purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymized.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With other members, according to the privacy and visibility settings you choose.
- With service providers who help us operate the Service — for example, hosting, email delivery, and payment processing for optional paid features — under agreements that limit their use of your data to providing that service.
- With analytics providers (see below), in aggregate or pseudonymous form where possible.
- When required by law, or to protect the safety of our members or the public.
Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, and we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. Google Analytics collects information such as pages viewed and general location; it does not receive your PakSouls profile content. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on.
Data security
We use technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and two-factor authentication for members who enable it — to protect your information. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.
Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain limited data for legal, safety or fraud prevention purposes.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of your account and data.
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

Children's privacy
PakSouls is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and will delete any such account if we become aware of one.
International members
PakSouls welcomes Pakistanis wherever they live, including overseas members. Your information may be processed in a country other than the one you live in; where this happens, we take steps to protect it consistent with this Policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify members through the Service or by email before the changes take effect.
