Studying, working or running a business in Malaysia? Search verified Pakistani profiles in Malaysia, across Asia and in Pakistan, with your family part of the search.
Finding a rishta as Pakistanis in Malaysia
Malaysia’s Pakistani community is a mix of university students, professionals, traders and long-settled families, many of them in the Klang Valley. It’s a welcoming Muslim-majority country, but the Pakistani community is spread thin, so finding a rishta through people you know is hard.
PakSouls lets you search beyond your own circle, in Malaysia, the wider region and Pakistan, with verification badges so you know who you are talking to.
Whether you live in Kuala Lumpur, Petaling Jaya, Shah Alam, Cyberjaya, Penang or Johor Bahru — or anywhere else in Malaysia — you can join PakSouls free and search for a spouse there, in Pakistan, or both.

Before you say yes
Questions worth discussing early.
Cross-border rishtas work best when both sides are honest about the practical details from the start. Topics to raise in your first few conversations:
- Whether you will stay in Malaysia after your studies or contract, move on, or return to Pakistan.
- Your visa or pass situation, and whether a spouse could join you on it.
- Study and career plans for both of you, including who works and where.
- How often you will visit Pakistan, and how both families will stay involved.
- For a Malaysian–Pakistani rishta: language, culture and which family traditions you will follow.
For more guidance, read talking about marriage expectations early and how to involve family without losing privacy.
Practical notes
Nikah, registration and visas.
In Malaysia, marriages between Muslims are handled by the Islamic religious authority of each state, which has its own procedures and usually asks foreigners for documents from their embassy. Many Pakistani couples instead marry in Pakistan and register the nikah with the Union Council and NADRA.
A foreign spouse usually needs a long-term pass to live in Malaysia. Check the current requirements with the Immigration Department of Malaysia and the Pakistani High Commission in Kuala Lumpur.
