The rules

Our terms, in short.

Each rule is a summary. The full wording is in our Terms of Service.

  1. 01

    Who can join

You must be 18 or older, legally free to marry, and looking for a spouse through nikah. PakSouls is made for Muslims and Pakistanis in Pakistan and around the world.

  2. 02

    Be truthful

Your name, age, marital status, sect, education, job and city must be true. Use recent photos of yourself only. One profile per person.

  3. 03

    Profiles for family

Parents, siblings and matchmakers may create a profile for someone else — only with that person’s knowledge and consent.

  4. 04

    Free consent, always

In Islam and in Pakistani law, both the bride and groom must freely agree. Forced or under-age marriage is never allowed on PakSouls.

  5. 05

    Islamic adab

Keep photos modest and conversations halal and respectful. No vulgar language, explicit content or requests for private photos. Involving your wali or family is encouraged.

  6. 06

    No harassment

Never abuse, threaten, stalk or insult anyone — including over sect, caste, ethnicity, language or marital history. “No” means no.

  7. 07

    No money, no jahez demands

Never ask a member for money, gifts or visa fees. Dowry (jahez) demands are not allowed. Report anyone who asks.

  8. 08

    Respect privacy

Don’t share another member’s photos, phone number, chats or screenshots without their permission — in Pakistan this can be a crime under PECA 2016.

  9. 09

    Verification

We check selfies, photos and phone numbers. We may reject or remove profiles that look fake, misleading or incomplete, and ask for more proof.

  10. 10

    Make your own enquiries

We introduce, we don’t guarantee. Meet with family, check details yourself and seek guidance (istikhara) before deciding. The final decision is always yours.

  11. 11

    Free & paid features

Joining, verification, search, connecting and messaging are free. Gold and other paid extras are optional — see our refund policy.

  12. 12

    Breaking the rules

We may warn, suspend or permanently remove accounts. Fraud, blackmail or threats may be reported to the authorities, such as the FIA Cyber Crime Wing.

Is PakSouls a dating app?

No. PakSouls is a matchmaking (rishta) service for people who want to get married. Profiles or messages meant for casual dating are removed.

Can my parents make my profile?

Yes — parents, siblings and trusted matchmakers can create and manage a profile for you, as long as you know about it and agree.

Can I join if I am divorced or widowed?

Yes. Just state your marital status honestly on your profile. If you are already married, you must say so and follow the laws of your country — in Pakistan, the Muslim Family Laws Ordinance 1961.

What happens if someone breaks these rules?

Report them from their profile or chat. Our team reviews every report and can warn, suspend or remove the account.
