Safety centre
Search for a spouse with confidence.
Verification you can read, privacy you control and a team that reviews every report — plus practical advice for staying safe while you get to know someone.
Verification
Know exactly what has been checked.
Every badge on PakSouls names one specific check. No vague “trusted” stamps.
Email & phone
One-time codes confirm the member controls the email address and phone number on the profile.
Live selfie
A selfie taken at registration is reviewed against the profile photos, so the face you see belongs to the member.
Education
A degree is marked verified only after supporting documents have been reviewed.
Verification confirms specific details; it is not a guarantee of character or compatibility. Keep asking questions and involve people you trust.
Privacy controls
Your photos, your contact details, your rules.
Photo visibility
Show photos to everyone matching your preferences, to verified members only, or only to people you accept. Hide or pause your profile any time.
Contact details stay hidden
Phone and WhatsApp are shared only when you approve a contact request — never automatically.
Connection-first messaging
Chat opens only after both sides accept a connection, so strangers cannot message you out of the blue.
Block
One tap from any profile or conversation. Blocked members can no longer see you or contact you.
Report
Reports go to the PakSouls safety team, who review them and act under our Community Guidelines.
Spot the warning signs
Common rishta scams — and how to avoid them.
Be cautious if someone…
- Asks for money, gift cards, crypto or mobile top-ups — for any reason, however urgent the story.
- Offers to “sponsor” you abroad, or asks you to pay visa, ticket or “processing” fees.
- Pushes to move to WhatsApp or another app before you have got to know them.
- Avoids video calls, or their camera is always “broken”.
- Declares strong feelings very quickly, or pressures you to decide fast.
- Gives details that don’t add up — profession, city, family or marital status that change between conversations.
- Asks for intimate photos or tries to make you keep the conversation secret from your family.
Good habits that protect you
- Keep conversations on PakSouls until you feel comfortable — if something goes wrong, our safety team can review what happened.
- Have a video call before sharing personal details, and involve a family member early.
- Check what each verified badge says, and ask about anything that isn’t verified.
- Never share passwords, one-time codes, bank details or ID documents with another member.
- If an overseas proposal involves visas, get advice from the official government website, not from the other person.
- Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, block and report — you don’t need proof.
Meeting in person
When it’s time to meet.
- Meet the first time with family present, or in a busy public place such as a restaurant or café.
- Tell a family member or friend where you are going, who you are meeting and when you expect to be back.
- Arrange your own travel, and don’t accept a lift from someone you have only just met.
- If you are travelling to another city or country to meet, verify the person and their family through people you trust first.
Read more in our Community Guidelines, or contact the team if you are worried about a conversation. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
What does a verified badge mean?
Each badge names one specific check — email, phone, selfie or education — that has been completed. It is not a guarantee of character or compatibility, so keep using your own judgement.
Who can see my photos and phone number?
You decide. Photos can be visible to everyone matching your preferences, to verified members only, or only to people you accept. Phone and WhatsApp stay hidden until you approve a contact request.
What happens when I report someone?
The report goes to the PakSouls safety team, who review the profile or conversation and act under our Community Guidelines — which can include removing the account. Reports are handled confidentially, and you will never be penalised for reporting in good faith.
What happens when I block someone?
A blocked member can no longer see your profile or contact you. You can block from any profile or conversation.
Someone asked me for money. What should I do?
Stop replying, do not send anything, and report the profile from inside PakSouls. Genuine proposals never need money, gift cards, crypto or help with visa or travel fees.
