Pakistani rishta · Greece

Pakistani rishta in Greece — with your family in the search.

For Pakistanis working and settling in Greece: search verified profiles in Greece, across Europe and in Pakistan, with parents back home part of the process.

Finding a rishta as Pakistanis in Greece

Greece’s Pakistani community is centred on Athens and Piraeus, and many of its members came to work and stayed. A lot of them are men whose families are still in Pakistan, so the rishta is often arranged from home while the groom builds a life in Greece.

PakSouls makes that easier: your parents can help manage your profile from Pakistan with your consent, and you can search in Greece, Europe and Pakistan with verification you can read.

Whether you live in Athens, Piraeus, Nea Ionia, Thessaloniki or Patras — or anywhere else in Greece — you can join PakSouls free and search for a spouse there, in Pakistan, or both.

Why PakSouls

Built for Pakistanis in Greece and their families.

  • Verification you can read

Email, phone, live selfie and education checks each have their own badge — so you know what’s real before families talk.

  • Privacy you control

Show photos to everyone, to verified members only, or only to people you accept. Contact details stay hidden until you approve.

  • Family on your terms

Parents or siblings — here or in Pakistan — can help manage your profile with your consent, clearly labelled.

  • In Greece and in Pakistan

Search for someone already living in Greece, someone in Pakistan, or both — it’s your choice.

Before you say yes

Questions worth discussing early.

Cross-border rishtas work best when both sides are honest about the practical details from the start. Topics to raise in your first few conversations:

  • Whether you will stay in Greece, move elsewhere in Europe, or return to Pakistan.
  • Your residence permit, and whether it lets a spouse join you and how long that could take.
  • Where your spouse will live in the meantime, with your family in Pakistan or on their own.
  • Work and language for a spouse who moves to Greece.
  • How often you will visit Pakistan, and how both families will stay involved.

For more guidance, read talking about marriage expectations early and how to involve family without losing privacy.

Practical notes

Nikah, registration and visas.

Many Pakistani couples marry in Pakistan, register the nikah with the Union Council and obtain a NADRA marriage registration certificate, then have it recognised for use in Greece. In Greece itself, couples usually register a civil marriage with the municipality.

A spouse coming from Pakistan usually needs a family reunification permit, with income and residence requirements for the sponsor. Check the current rules with the Greek Ministry of Migration and take professional advice.

This is general information to help you plan, not legal or immigration advice. Never pay another member for help with a visa or sponsorship — see our Safety centre.
