Pakistani rishta · Oman
Pakistani rishta in Oman — from Muscat to Salalah.
For Pakistanis living in Oman, including families with roots there for generations: search verified proposals in Oman, the Gulf and Pakistan, with privacy you control.
Finding a rishta as Pakistanis in Oman
Pakistan and Oman share a long history, and many Pakistani families, including Baloch families with ties to both sides of the sea, have lived in Muscat, Sohar and Salalah for generations. Others are newer arrivals working in construction, healthcare, business and trade.
Whether your family has been in Oman for decades or you moved for work a few years ago, PakSouls helps you search beyond the people you already know, with verification you can read and family involvement on your terms.
Whether you live in Muscat, Seeb, Sohar, Salalah, Sur or Nizwa — or anywhere else in Oman — you can join PakSouls free and search for a spouse there, in Pakistan, or both.
Why PakSouls
Built for Pakistanis in Oman and their families.
Verification you can read
Email, phone, live selfie and education checks each have their own badge — so you know what’s real before families talk.
Privacy you control
Show photos to everyone, to verified members only, or only to people you accept. Contact details stay hidden until you approve.
Family on your terms
Parents or siblings — here or in Pakistan — can help manage your profile with your consent, clearly labelled.
In Oman and in Pakistan
Search for someone already living in Oman, someone in Pakistan, or both — it’s your choice.
Before you say yes
Questions worth discussing early.
Cross-border rishtas work best when both sides are honest about the practical details from the start. Topics to raise in your first few conversations:
- Whether you will settle in Oman or eventually return to Pakistan.
- Whether your salary allows you to sponsor a spouse to join you, and how long that may take.
- Living near family in Oman, or setting up a new home.
- Languages and culture at home, especially in families with roots in Balochistan or Makran.
- How the two families will be involved, especially if one is in Pakistan.
For more guidance, read talking about marriage expectations early and how to involve family without losing privacy.
Practical notes
Nikah, registration and visas.
Many couples marry in Pakistan, register the nikah with the Union Council and NADRA, and attest the documents for use in Oman. Marriages can also be registered in Oman through the appropriate authorities.
Sponsoring a spouse’s residence depends on your salary and situation, and requirements change. Check with the Royal Oman Police (which handles residence visas) and the Pakistani embassy in Muscat.
This is general information to help you plan, not legal or immigration advice. Never pay another member for help with a visa or sponsorship — see our Safety centre.
